This is the golden crew. Hairy Killerpillar is our standard bearer at
the top left of the page. We're headin' south this time because we now have our southern entry Armie
Armadilla. Then of course there's Madigin who is flying in for his daily applause (you know how he is when
things don't go his way). Below the bird, are the 3 Witches of Madison County holding onto the Long Dollar, which
Chet Hopper (the next character in the top center), has been looking for in cauldrons and trunks for sometime now.
Swirling Dervish, Cuzzin' Toad's messenger service is below Chet Hopper. If you ever want your mail delivered
speedily, enlist the service of this guy. Cuzzin' Toad along with Chet Hopper are moonstruck and now are on a quest
for the Long Dollar. Trustworthy T. Turtle, our most elderly gentleman (500 years) is heading west. Trustworthy
holds the answer to the tale of the Long Dollar. Following Trustworthy, we have Fernando Hernando Hildalgo
eFox (how's that for a tongue-twister?) And last but not least is D. Wayne De-Duck who just kind of floated
in on the pond and as you will eventually find out, he becomes the leader of the pack of samalanders.
Did we say, "samalanders"? Is that RIGHT? It sure is.
These guys are quite a quartet, and while they're performing, they manage to put a new twist on a water ballet. Check
out one of the future books (you wouldn't want to miss this one!). D. Wayne De-duck is quite a maestro as well.
